It’s these moments we wish we could keep forever. The lifestyle portrait session is an investment in making the little moments in life with your loved ones, the most important .. these moments turn into fine art imagery to showcase in your home for daily enjoyment.
I’m often asked what happens during a lifestyle portrait session. The session takes place at your home or somewhere you and / or your family will feel comfortable and happy. I will direct you how to stand, what to do, where to look and will sometimes bring props which might reflect that childhood whimsical period .. heart felt admiration between a couple etc etc. The photo shoot can last between 1 and 2 hours depending on the amount of people. The images focus on play .. the interactions between family members and the essence of each person being photographed.
Selecting a photographer to capture your family is an extremely personal decision. It is very important to find someone who suits your style of what you like in photos. I always advise prospective clients to research this carefully and select someone whose images will make them smile forever. When selecting me you will be guaranteed a fun, relaxed and enjoyable experience and you will be guaranteed to see images which are the ‘real’ you but in a ‘glossy magazine way’. You may not always see full faces in every single frame but you will see emotion, fun, essence and moments in time captured on digital film every single time.
Although I am based in Brisbane, Queensland, lifestyle Portrait sessions are available Australia Wide. Currently there are wait lists for all major centres in Australia.
A full family session fee is as little as $250. This includes session lasting up to 2 hours, an online password protected gallery of between 35 and 50 different moments captured for you to select your images from. Digital collections and other professional grade photography products are available for purchase to showcase your favourites.

My little boy Flynnie was in the Baby Beehinds photoshoot earlier this year and has just turned 1. I have been thinking for a while about having some pictures taken – maybe just of him or maybe of the 3 of us.
I know you’re not in Townsville but I also know that you come down here sometimes and wondered if you could keep us in mind if you ever do have something planned down here.
