Coming from living in small, rural areas, we haven’t ever really experienced carnival time before. The biggest carnival we ever really had was the cake stall at the front of the school on election day or maybe the odd car boot sale. I remember…  Tomorrow my dadda starts a new chapter of his life. In a home. With nurses. Where he feels safe. It’s a happy time. Happy words. Happy hearts. We all know, it’s the right decision. For real reasons. But crying still seems to flow so easily.
